How to Disable Favicon Fetching

Independent Analytics displays favicons for each site in the Referrers report. It includes bundled icons for 70 popular websites, like Reddit and Google, and will fetch favicons from each other site listed in your Referrers report.

If you don’t want your site to make these external requests, you can add this line of code to your wp-config.php file to disable this feature:

define('IAWP_DISABLE_FAVICON_FETCHING', true);

Once added, Independent Analytics will no longer make any external requests to fetch favicons from your referrers. It will retain any favicons already found.
